| Committee Objective: | Focus on joint events with the Greater Houston Mortgage Brokers Association, including education classes, joint lobbying efforts and networking events.

| Committee Objective: | Provide accurate financial information to the HMBA Board to insure fiscally sound decision making processes. Collect budget information from committees to plan revenues and expenditures for the year.

| Committee Objective: | Work with FNMA, FHLMC and FHA to bring products to the marketplace that will assist Emerging Market home buyers to qualify for home loans. Will also work with local associations (i.e. Houston Association of Realtors, Urban League, etc.) to provide affordable housing to underserved markets. The committee will focus on education and counseling for this segment of potential home buyers.

| Committee Objective: | Provide opportunities for our members and guests to meet outside the office to hear interesting speakers, learn about various challenges facing our industry, create relationships among our peers, share ideas, and have fun. Our monthly meetings allow or members to network with other industry leaders, who by working together can make a difference on political issues that affect our industry.

| Committee Objective: | Expand the membership base by 20% by being more pro-active in the solicitation of members. Members gain access to industry leaders and decision makers. Member benefit information will be distributed thorough the HMBA website and by written method. Members will receive questionnaires requesting their involvement and input towards the initiatives of the association. All members are encouraged to get other associates in their companies involved in the HMBA.

| Committee Objective: | Facilitate education and training seminars by working with FNMA, FHLMC and FHA. Focus will be on DU/LP training, processing training for new processors and loan officers, fraud detection and prevention, etc.

| Committee Objective: | Identify future leaders of the mortgage banking industry and assist them in getting actively involved in the HMBA as well as the TMBA’s Future Mortgage Leaders program. TMBA’s FML members gain exposure to the industry’s current leaders and are given opportunities to participate in the committees and programs of both the HMBA and TMBA.

| Committee Objective: | Communicate pertinent legislative changes to HMBA members (via HMBA website). Collaborate with Houston City Counsel for public event to raise citizen awareness of the mortgage banking process. Facilitate fundraisers for legislators sympathetic to the challenges facing the mortgage banking community.

| Committee Objective: | Provide opportunities for our members to meet outside the office to share ideas build friendships and have fun. The committee will continue to host golf tournaments in the spring and fall, and will research other events that will encourage our members to participate and build relationships. These events will generate funds to support the efforts of our organization, and will allow us to sponsor community projects to strengthen our reputation as a concerned organization in the community.
